The webinar explored the growing importance of passive building design and Passive House certification in new building construction and renovations. Attendees gained valuable insights into the benefits of passive design including energy efficiency, comfort, indoor air quality, sustainability, and quality assurance. Anticipated costs and other diminishing industry hurdles were also explored. Discussion included the increasing inclusion of Passive House certification in regional energy codes, and increased financial incentives available for projects pursuing this increasingly relevant certification system.
