Physicians Assistant Program

Johnson & Wales University is renovating their newly acquired Claverick Building located at 157 Clifford Street in the Jewelry District of Providence RI. The existing 1948 two-story building will be renovated to house the new Physician Assistant Program and will serve as a landmark for the community. The completed sleek brick and glass structure will include a learning common with a variety of seating arrangements and meeting rooms; a gross anatomy lab with 13 stations; a clinical practice lab with an emergency room set-up, simulators and simulator control room; two large tiered classrooms; a reading room; and administration space. Stephen Turner Inc. was retained in support of the renovation project in September, 2012. The main scope of work consists of a complete renovation of the structure, including a new main entrance at 35 Claverick Street, and upgrading all major MEP/FP systems to meet the new program requirements
