Combined, both buildings encompass 30,000 square feet.
Stephen Turner Inc. provided recommissioning services from 2012 to 2013 in order to verify and document that the building systems are functioning optimally, with a focus on energy and water use reduction. As part of the recommissioning process, Stephen Turner Inc. conducted functional performance testing of all HVAC and major electrical systems of the facility, including the solar photovoltaic system. In addition, StephenTurner Inc. worked to improve indoor air quality and overall indoor environmental quality.
Numerous operational improvements were identified and implemented during recommissioning. As part of the recommissioning deliverables, Stephen Turner Inc. developed enhanced preventive maintenance procedures for both contractors and in-house personnel. These procedures include remote monitoring and hands-on maintenance tasks, as well as a three-year recalibration program for critical building automation system sensors.
